About

Hello to the beautiful person there!

Thank you for visiting my blog. It’s just a small attempt at sharing my thoughts on what I gather from the world we live in!

I’m a dreamer who believes in experiencing life as it comes, the power of struggle and conscious living.

‘The Invictus Soul’ is all about making ourselves unconquerable. Because we’re all Breathing but not everyone is Living!

Let’s all build a life we won’t need a vacation from!

I hope you’ll enjoy reading through my blog. You can also write to me at khushboo.arora@outlook.com

“I have many problems in life. But my lips don’t know that. They always smile!” – Charlie Chaplin πŸ™‚

Cheers to life and peace to all ❀

  1. I have sent a letter to wordpress advising them that I think they should provide additional notification options – basically I have suggested that they should extend and develop the “Like” option into sub categories, thus:

    LIKE:
    ~ like
    ~ like a lot
    ~ I have a crush on you
~ I am getting hot and bothered reading your blag
~ my ovaries are going ring-ding-a-dong as I write this to you
    ~ are you single
~ do you have all your main limbs in tact (hair and teeth are optional)
~ how much money do you have in your bank account
~ do you have a very long ladder, my bedroom is on the third floor of our house and my Father is a very light sleeper
    ~ will you marry me
~ OK, to be honest I don’t really care if you are married I want to have a hot and steamy affair with you
~ I will be waiting for you under the third lamp-post outside and to the left of our house as you face it, please bring a large Van, I have many dresses, shoes and suitcases

DO YOU THINK THEY MIGHT ACCEPT MY IDEA???

  2. I’ve nominated you for the Liebster Award. This is an award for new bloggers with less than 200 followers.

This a great way to do some networking. The Liebster award nominees are chosen by fellow bloggers. Each blogger that accepts, chooses 11 other blogs to nominate.

If you choose to accept the nomination, there are a few things for you to complete and post on your site.

Take a look at them the requirements at the link to my Liebster award blog and see what you think.
    http://sadieflynn.wordpress.com/2014/11/25/the-liebster-award/

After you select your nominees, feel free to cut and paste parts of this message in order to make your own version. That is what I did.

You are not obligated to participate.

    • Hello there! Thank you for considering this blog for the nomination..it means alot, but we choose to not accept awards and that’s why we have a separate page on it. Also, fortunately we have more than 200 followers, which means we’re not eligible for it either!
Thanks for the consideration though πŸ™‚

  4. Got to love your way at looking at life, idealistic and warm hearted. Maybe with more people like you we might change some day. As you said is never too late, a bit complicated to say the least but is never too late to dream for something better. I know I sound a bit cynical, but thatΒ΄s why we cynics need people like you. Plus you write very well. Glad you stumbled upon my crazy little blog. Now if you donΒ΄t mind IΒ΄ll stick around and be dropping by to do what I have coined “my cool stalker moves”( I should patent that saying)

    • Thank you so very much for the nomination Shashank! But keeping aligned with the no-awards policy on this blog, I won’t be able to accept the award…the fact that you considered is an award in itself and it means a lot! Thanks again and congratulations to you πŸ™‚

I hope if you have time some day you’ll drop by and add your thoughts to my page called “Reasons to Smile.” It’s a list of things people are thankful for, just to encourage each other. It looks like you have much more experience with blogging than I do. I would enjoy hearing your thoughts. Have a great day.

  14. Kushboo the thoughts in your blog and your writings reveal your awesome talents. Would love to visit and read your stuff off and on. I liked your “I am a dreamer presently working on making them come alive” but my question is for dreams to come alive why must we have to work for them? What if we just ‘let go’? πŸ™‚

    Like

    • Thank you for this very thoughtful question! πŸ™‚ How will our dreams come alive if we just ‘let go’? Wouldn’t letting go mean not doing anything extra and just going with whatever comes our way? An extra effort will still be needed to make our dreams come alive right!?!
I believe we can dream, work to make them come alive and still ‘let go’…as in go with the flow, enjoy every aspect of existence and cheerfully work with self-satisfying energy! Please tell me what you had in mind while asking me this question?
I’d love to have you visit here off and on πŸ™‚

    • Hi Montreal!! Thank you so much for bringing a smile on my face through this comment, it’s the best to hear when someone calls you a ‘loyal follower’ and knows that you’re keeping upto date with them. And I’m even more happy that you considered me for this award, but just in keeping with the blog policy of not accepting awards (I find it very difficult to state facts about myself :P), i can’t add it to the list, but this consideration from you is a greater reward for me! Thank you so very much!! πŸ™‚

  16. Hi, sometimes it’s good to make some noise as long as you’re not bothering anyone. So I appreciate your interest on that blog. But the Oscars had too much comic book and fantasy genres. TV has been doing the same thing. I still like the original stories more.

  18. to begin with ‘Khushboo’ is a name anyone would fall in love with, on first glance πŸ™‚ Love the name πŸ™‚ The first thing I do when I visit a blog is go to the ‘About Me’ section…it gives me an idea what to expect in their blogposts. I like the way you write πŸ™‚ simple and understandable to the common man πŸ™‚ I think i’d enjoy spending time here πŸ™‚ will keep leaving feedback πŸ™‚

And thank you for your feedback too! It’s always a pleasure to know what people think. πŸ™‚ Sadly though, I don’t think I’ll be very active in writing any posts here till May but I’ll certainly be there to read your amazing travel experiences and more that you share!
Also the ‘smiles’ made it even better for me to read this lovely comment from you! Hope that smile never fades πŸ™‚

  20. My goodness – you seem to have had a lot of interest since I was last in contact with you (top of your “About” page here – November 19, 2014 at 3:44 AM) – what a popular girl !!

Of course nobody loves me – which is exactly how I like it and exactly in line with my sentiments and directions in my “about” page – heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Anyway, thank you very much for your expressed like on my 0049 – and I enjoyed writing that little story about sewing my lips together, I was wetting myself when I wrote it!!

  21. Hi, I enjoyed comments from Jobs. I heard he was very selfish, but learned to be caring when he was older. I’m also glad that he left us the iphone and other nice things. I noticed that you viewed another old blog of mine. That was nice. We all started somewhere.

    • Well, you see how people who tend to do things differently from those around them and have the audacity to move out of the crowd are often termed selfish by certain people and selfless by others at the same…i guess that was the case with Steve Jobs too! He was a good man!
It’s my pleasure, I’m glad you enjoyed too πŸ™‚
